Rhinoplasty Makeup Tips

The most common side effects of rhinoplasty are swelling, bruising, discoloration and the presence of the incision scars. These are natural results of the surgery and the body’s way of telling you that something traumatic is happening and that your body is trying to fix it. Still, you do not want to pay more attention to all other healing your nose, as they do to you. To minimize awkward stares you need some good cosmetics.
First, you can start with a little concealer to cover up bruises and cuts. Concealers are nice and thick, much thicker than foundation and basically you can delete some of the flaws associated with rhinoplasty. Make sure to find one that comes very close to your skin color and that is hypoallergenic to avoid further irritation to your skin. Choose a concealer, the waterproof, is to give you the look that lasts all day. After applying the concealer your bruises and scars, it is usually best to apply a layer of your regular foundation for a more finished presentation.

Then apply foundation strip, which are two shades darker than your regular along the sides of the nose. Mix them together as best as you can. This should produce the illusion of a thinner nose line cover all temporary oiliness and inflammation.
Before you try any of these techniques, you need to get your surgeon’s approval. In general, you are allowed to start only painted a few days after surgery, but you can wait until your stitches have been removed, to start covering the cut lines. If you start using makeup again ensure that your applicators are clean and that your products are hypoallergenic and non-oily. Be consistent and diligent in completely removes the make-up with toner and cleaning your face every night. The last thing you want is an infection in your nose inadvertently, the extension of the swelling, bruising and overall recovery.
